چکیده
Abstract Sweet potato flour is one of the derivative products sweet potato, especially for raw materials or additives in food industry. The processing potato-based must also be balanced with existing environmental management. For this reason, there a need suitable methods to deal processes that produce minimised wastes harm environment. Cleaner production an approach offers various benefits Identification cleaner alternatives was carried out by quick scan method minimising presence waste feasibility design analysed considering technical, environmental, financial, and economic aspects. water use done calculating footprint whole process. calculated adding up green, blue, grey footprints obtain total usage planting (green water) estimated approx. 1.093 m 3 /ton flour. simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Effect of Soybean Flour on Physico-chemical, Functional, and Rheological Properties of Composite Flour from Rice, Sweet Potato, and Potato.
Three composite flours were prepared by combining rice flour, potato starch, sweet potato flour, soybean flour, and xanthan gum in the ratio of 30: 15: 50: 4.5: 0.5; 30: 15: 45: 9.5: 0.5; and 30: 15: 40: 14.5: 0.5, were analysed for selected physical, chemical, functional, and rheological properties. Fat, protein, ash, and crude fibre content were found to increase with increase in the ratio of...
متن کاملThe sweet potato IbMYB1 gene as a potential visible marker for sweet potato intragenic vector system.
MYB transcription factors play important roles in transcriptional regulation of many secondary metabolites including anthocyanins. We cloned the R2R3-MYB type IbMYB1 complementary DNAs from the purple-fleshed sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L. cv Sinzami) and investigated the expression patterns of IbMYB1 gene with IbMYB1a and IbMYB1b splice variants in leaf and root tissues of various sweet pota...
متن کاملEvaluation of Virtual Water and Water Footprint of Crop Production (Case study: Qaleganj County)
To address the optimal use of available water resources, a revisit of water resource allocation and management is needed. Water use and water footprint of every product varies in different geographical areas due to various climate, agricultural operations and water efficiencies. Thus, more productive management schemes are to be developed. The goal of this study is to assess the virtual water a...
متن کاملFarming Techniques, Environmental Challenges, and Technical Efficiency of Sweet Potato Production in Abia State, Nigeria
Viable sweet potato production is hard to achieve with indiscriminate use of farm inputs, resulting to wastage and environmental damages, as consequences are common problems of arable crop farming in Abia State. Issues arising from farm input use and their corresponding implications for environment called for a study on suitable farming practices and farm-specific technical efficiency for optim...
